Today Jugal Kishore Sharma Member of Parliament Jammu along with DDC Chairman Saraf Singh Nag,District President BJP Rohit Dubey & others toured village Kotli Manyotri,Sirla Bhagha,Sujangdhar Bhomag and adjoining areas of Shri Mata vaishno Devi Assembly constituency and led Amrit Kalash Yatra under Meri Maati Mera Desh a Nationwide programme.He also paid tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed for the Nation.
Member of Parliament while addressing the gathering present at the occasion said that Bharatiya Janata Party under the dynamic leadership of Hon'ble Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi has started a Nationwide Amrit Kalash Yatra under "Meri Maati Mera Desh" campaign.
He said that under this programme Maati from every household from urban and rural area is collected in a Amrit Kalash and taken up to the Block & District Level and then UT and take it to Delhi.He said that our Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi is very visionary and initiated a step to construct "Amrit Van" in remembrance of those people sacrificed for the country.He said that a fundamental aspect of the program is to express heartfelt gratitude to all the bravehearts (Veers and Veeranganas) who have made supreme sacrifice.He said that a Shilaphalakam also installed having names of the bravehearts.Freedom fighters, defense personnel, personnel of Central Armed Police Forces and State Police who laid down their lives in the line of duty are remembered by every heart of the Nation.He said that a initiative of planting 75 plants/trees near Amrit Sarovars or Prime Location of villages also included in this programme.He said that at the memorial site people will be take a solemn pledge covering the Panch Pran of Hon'ble Prime Minister.
